The 12th national edition of Jame'at Al-Quran Al-karim institute’s Quran competition is slated to be held on February 10-11 in Tehran.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The 12th national edition of Jame'at Al-Quran Al-karim institute’s Quran competition is slated to be held on February 10-11 in Tehran.

This edition will be launched for men all across the country and some 114 individuals, all above 16, are to attend the event.

The contest will feature recitation, Tarteel, research study, and memorization of 5, 10, 20 Juzes (parts) and the entire Holy Quran.

Eight memorizers will compete in the memorization of the entire Holy Quran category.

A number of graduates and masters of the center will attend the opening ceremony of the competition which is planned to be held on February 10 at the Milad Tower’s conference hall.

Jame’at Al-Quran Al-karim institute was founded in Qum in June, 1998, simultaneous with Eid Al-Adha (Feast of sacrifices), as a cultural-educational institution. Its aim is to advance the culture of the Quran, create a deep and lasting connection between the youth and the Quran, and secure their hearts and souls against any kind of cultural dangers and plagues.
